Pastor Daniel, his wife Deborah and an older sister in the church. Deborah is in nurses training. She knows English well and often translates for us in church. We enjoyed a delicious meal with Daniel and Deborah one night last week in their apartment!

We enjoyed learning to know Dave and Alice Pickett from England, pictured here with Horatio and Gina. Dave is Pastor of the Church in England that sponsored Karisma Kids. Horatio and Gina were the directors. The Picketts were here to finalize the transfer of the Karisma Kids facility to SLM.

We were privileged to be invited by Iosif's parents, Ionel and Ana, to help harvest their grapes on Monday. Their vineyard is planted on a hill overlooking the village of Hapria. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the new experience! We also are enjoying the fruit of the harvest - fresh grape juice and jelly!
